- Verify the Startup Disk and the structure of its System files
- Run miscellaneous tasks of system maintenance
- Configure some hidden parameters of the Finder, Dock, Dashboard, Exposé, Safari, Login window and some of Apple’s own applications
- Delete caches
- Removes cumbersome files and folders
- Much, much, much more…
Honestly i don’t even want to explain many of the things OnyX can do because i could not do this little app justice. Having personally used this app for over 2 years i can say that OnyX is a handy little utility to keep your Mac in tip top shape.
