Get Notified with Growl

Growl for Mac OS XThere are so many useful things this application does its hard to write this teaser. Growl is the ultimate Mac notification utility. It doesn’t consume any of your resources, it notifies you unintrusively, it looks good, and its free. Having personally used Growl for over 3 years, heres what i can say about it. It interfaces with your FTP app to tell you you’re upload or download is done. The possibilities are limitless! (more…)

Chromium, Google Chrome for Mac

Chromium Mac OS X

Have you heard of Google Chrome? It’s the new browser from Google. Available on Windows for almost a year now, yet us Mac users have had to live with a information screen telling us that it will be available shortly. Well, its time to stop waiting, and jump on board the gravy train because Chromium is available now, and it is fast, user friendly, and in my experience significantly more stable then Mozilla Firefox. Plus, the install wont take you more then a minute, i promise. (more…)

Screen shot 2009-11-15 at 11.13.37 PMIf you’re a systems administrator or a developer who relies on scheduled tasks, or just an everyday user who would like to set something to run on a specific schedule, CronniX is a must have utility.
