Its hard to believe that we are still plagued with DRM issues to this day. Its hard to listen to music and transfer it from computer to device without having to worry about whether it will work or if Uncle Sam is watching. Ironically iTunes let’s you use iTunes to remove the DRM from it. Here are the steps:
- Create an iTunes playlist with all the songs containing DRM
- Burn the playlist onto a blank CD-R
- Re-rip the playlist back into iTunes
That’s it, after re-ripping the CD you will have the same songs without the original DRM. You might want to consider deleting the originals so you don’t get the two versions confused.
